Introduction: Projector Institute is a creative and technology-focused educational platform that offers courses, programs, and mentorship for professionals. I worked on redesigning the Projector website with a strong focus on aligning the product experience with evolving business needs. In this project, I acted as a Product and UX Designer, working across research, concept development, interface design, animation, and responsive layouts. The goal was not just to refresh visuals, but to rethink how the website supports Projector’s business model, growth, and communication with different audiences.

Problem: As Projector grew, the existing website no longer fully supported its business objectives. Key offerings, educational formats, and value propositions were not clearly reflected in the structure and content. The site lacked flexibility to communicate different business models, promote new initiatives, and highlight people behind the product, such as tutors. From a UX perspective, the experience needed clearer hierarchy, stronger storytelling, and better adaptation across desktop and mobile devices. The challenge was to redesign the site in a way that would support both current needs and future growth. Approach: I started by researching different business and educational models relevant to Projector’s direction. This included analyzing how other education platforms structure their offerings, communicate value, and convert users at different stages of the funnel. Based on this research, I proposed multiple product and structural ideas aimed at better supporting Projector’s business goals. Working closely with stakeholders, I translated these ideas into concrete website changes. The focus was on improving clarity, introducing new content blocks that the business needed, and reshaping the information architecture to better reflect Projector’s ecosystem rather than a simple list of courses. Constraints: The redesign needed to work within an existing brand and content ecosystem while remaining flexible enough for future changes. The website had to perform equally well on desktop and mobile, and animations had to enhance storytelling without hurting performance or accessibility. Balancing expressive design with usability and business clarity required careful iteration. Solution: I redesigned the website experience across desktop and mobile, introducing new structural blocks that supported business goals such as explaining educational formats, highlighting value propositions, and guiding users through decision-making. Particular attention was paid to motion and interaction design, using animation to add clarity, rhythm, and emphasis rather than decoration. A dedicated tutor page was designed to showcase mentors more clearly, building trust and helping users understand who they would be learning from. This page became an important part of the overall experience, connecting educational content with real people and expertise. UX Deliverables: The work included desktop and mobile layouts, revised information architecture, new business-driven content blocks, animated interactions, and a dedicated tutor profile page. Results: The redesigned website better reflected Projector’s business model and educational philosophy, making key offerings easier to understand and navigate. The new structure allowed the team to communicate value more clearly, introduce new initiatives faster, and present tutors as a core part of the product experience. The project helped align design decisions with business strategy and reinforced the role of the website as a living product rather than a static marketing page.

Conclusion: This case highlights my approach to treating websites as products shaped by business needs, not just visual systems. By combining research into business models, product thinking, and thoughtful UX and motion design, I helped create a scalable and expressive platform that supports Projector’s growth. The experience strengthened my skills in business-oriented UX, responsive web design, and using animation as a functional part of product communication.
